Clean rooms and friendly staff, but steep stairs and no lift.

Spotlessly clean rooms with remarkably friendly service.
I was quite disappointed with my stay at Poveira Hotel. The location felt far from the city center, and the surrounding area seemed run down, making late-night walks feel unsafe. My room had minimal lighting and the balcony was dirty, not to mention the lack of a proper bathroom ventilation system, which left the room humid after showers. On top of that, there were no nearby decent restaurants, which made dining quite inconvenient.

The hotel is conveniently located across the street from the train station, making travel with our 4 kids exceptionally easy. Daniel at the front desk was welcoming and helped plan our quick visit. Plus, we enjoyed a hearty breakfast for just 6 euros!
My kids wished for an elevator for carrying luggage.

I stayed in a Single Room for one night. The bed was comfy, and the room and bathroom were spotless. It was nice to have air conditioning since it was warm outside. The charm of the hotel added to the atmosphere, making it a cozy place to rest before hitting the Camino. However, the room was on the smaller side and didn't offer a lot of extra amenities.

Perfect Spot for a Quick Stay
I recently stayed just one night, and I have to say, the location near the railway station is incredibly convenient. The room was tidy and offered enough space to unpack my bags comfortably. Breakfast was a pleasant surprise, with a nice selection available. However, I did find the bed to be quite firm, which made it a bit tough to get a good night's sleep.

The location near the main train station is ideal for easy access to travel, and the staff members were exceptionally friendly and accommodating. The room, though simple, was clean and well-maintained, making for a comfortable stay. However, the absence of an elevator can be challenging for those with heavy luggage, and the breakfast options were somewhat limited.
